CHRYSLER POWER AND THE OLD RERLIABLE SERIES AND BOOK
OlD RELIABLE BOOK $15
My serious writing career was started by Roland Osborne of Chrysler Power Magazine. At his encuragement I wrote several articles over about a 2 to 3 year period for him. He encouraged me to publish the OLD RELIABLE book and hekped me with layout and set up as well as advice. This book Old Relaible is in its 7th printing and is still selling strong.

Stephan Sheahan , a Canadian TV producer did an interview with me about the book and its contents. Actually there is more than just that in it but that was the basis for it. It is avaialble from me as well and is called the OLD RELIABLE DVD The Interview.
NEWSPAPER CAREER AND "THE VIEW FROM THE RIDGE" COLUMN
About this time I wrote a drag racing explantion piece for the local Prince Edward Free Press. Its Publisher/Editor Glen Tooze invited me to write a column on a regular basis and I did for a few years. It was called The View From The Ridge and was quite successful. It was about anything that took my fancy and could be funny or contraversial. As an Editor Glenn Tooze gave me a free hand. I enjoyed this project a lot. A couple of years ago I did a few for Canada's oldest newspaper The Picton Gazette. They carried a few but not enough to keep me busy so I have stopped writing them for the time being. I have considered publishing all the old ones in a coil bound book. I am still asked about this column about once a month even though it has been a few years since I wrote it.
CANADIAN CLASSICS MAGAZINE ARTICLES
Another Canadian publisher Lidstone Publications of PEI asked me to write several articles for them for their Canadian Classics car magazine. I have no idea how many I wrote but it was a lot. Dale Lidstone is a good guy to work for and I enjoyed it. I still contribute from time to time and he is graciuos enough to print it.
THE GREATEST ADVENTURE, "THE RETURN TO DEUTSCHLAND" BOOK $15
Through a very unusual set of circumstances I discovered and was reuniited with my root German family. My last name Dulmage is the way the Irish respelled our name in the 1700s. My ancestor Johann Adam Dolmetsch (pronounced the same as Dulmage) imigrated there in 1709 from Germany.This adventure of rediscovery was and still is, to me, unbelievable. I wrote this book about it. I took care to write it third person (he she they them etc) so it reads like an adventure story which it is. The fact that it is a true story is incidental. It is a good read regardless of your heritage.

NEW BOOK "THE WRENCH"
Written after 30 odd years in the auto mechanics trade this book gives one a never seen before look at the lives and experiences of an Auto Mechanic as well as a good look at some of the humour we tradesmen enjoy that is apparently not available to the rest of the world. The manuscript is about 95 % complete and has been written over serveral years. I will not be publishing this one myself. I am looking for a publisher.
